I totally love all of the characters in the Spirited Away anime movie. I have had so much fun watching the Spirited Away anime movie over and over. The Spirit Away anime movie was released in Japan in July 2001 and it became highest-grossing film in Japanese history. The Spirit Away anime movie was the first film to have earned two hundred million dollars at the worldwide box office before it ever opened in the United States.
In the Spirit Away anime movie, a little girl is moving to a new town with her parents. She is unhappy about the move and irritable. The family loses their way and comes across a tunnel. They enter the tunnel out of curiosity and find that it provides access into a spirit world. The main character of the Spirit Away anime movie is Chihiro. She is the little girl that is in the process of moving to a new town when her family stumbled upon the entrance to the spirit world. The Spirit Away anime movie follows her adventures. I love watching her mature from a whiny, self-centered and pessimistic child into a hard-working, helpful and optimistic young woman. In the Spirit Away anime movie, Chihiros parents are Akio and Yuuko Ogino. Akio is Chihiros father and he starts the story out being impulsive. I thought it was funny when Chihiros parents were turned into pigs at the start of the Spirit Away anime movie. Haku is the young boy who helps Chihiro after her parents have been turned into pigs. In the Spirit Away anime movie, Haku helps prevent Chihiro from becoming a spirit. He also gives her advice on getting work at the bathhouse in order to survive to see her parents again. Haku works as a direct subordinate of Yubaba, an old sorceress. He runs errands and performs missions for her. Haku has the ability to fly and also to become a dragon. Toward the end of the Spirit Away anime movie, Chihiro recalls falling into the river, of which Haku is the spirit. Chihiro then frees Haku from Yubaba's service by helping him remember his real name. Even though Haku comes across as cold, and isnt popular with the bathhouse staff, he is always kind to Chihiro. This makes him my favorite character in the Spirit Away anime movie. I really hated watching Yubaba treat Haku like a magical errand boy. I was so mad when he lay dying in front of her and she was concerned about his blood getting on the carpet. Article Source: Anime Guide This article has been viewed 238 times. Add to Del.icio.us |
